31/01/2020 - Public procurement contract: Study on "Indicators of the living environment in the BCR"

Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (BISA) - News of the 31st of January 2020 - The Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (BISA) is launching a tender for a study into indicators of the living environment in the Brussels-Capital Region.

The Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (BISA) is launching a public procurement contract - via a direct negotiated procedure with prior publication - for a study into indicators of the living environment in the Brussels-Capital Region.

The Regional Sustainable Development Plan aims to guarantee a "pleasant, sustainable and attractive" living environment in the Brussels-Capital Region. But how can this be measured? The BISA wants to identify the indicators for characterising the living environment as objectively as possible.

This is a two-parts tender. During the firm part, the study will identify the current indicators of the living environment in Belgium and overseas. It will also assess the availability of data for calculating these indicators in the BCR. During the conditional part, the service provider will propose a working list of indicators and calculate these indicators when the data is available.

The indicative duration of the study is a maximum of 12 months.

The last date for the submission of bids is 16 March 2020 at noon.
