30/04/2020 - New items under seven themes

In April, the data on seven of the areas dealt with by Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (BISA) was updated

In April, three new statistical tables have been added and updated figures have been provided in 72 others.
 

NEW ITEMS

Education: a new table on the Movement of pupils between the Brussels Region, the Brabant provinces and the rest of Belgium according to gender for the school year 2018-2019.

Economy: two tables on Demographic Movements of Businesses at a municipal level for the period 2009-2018.

UPDATES

Health: The Total number of births and stillbirths, and rates of stillbirths and infant mortality are updated with 2016 and 2017 statistics.

Education: updating of the tables on pupil movements, both at regional and municipal level, to and from the Brabant provinces and the rest of Belgium for the 2018-2019 school year.

Labour market: addition of 2019 Labour Force Survey (LFS) figures to the Population employed, unemployed and not in the labour force, the Unemployment rate, Employment Rate and Participation Rate and to the table dealing with Type of contract. Interregional commuting statistics have also been updated with 2019 data (LFS). The tables of the Number of workstations per workplace and sector (private/public) have been supplemented with 2018 data from the NSSO.

Economy: the tables of the Number of local settlement units have been updated with statistics for the year 2018.

Research and technology: In Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), the tables on Information and Communication Technology Production have been updated with the figures for 2018 and those on ICT Use by Households and Individuals with the results for the year 2019.

Land-use planning and real estate: the table on the Sales made by Citydev.brussels has been updated with the figures for the year 2019, the table on Housing Bonuses and Allowances with the data for the period between 2015 and 2019 and the statistics for the year 2019 have been added to the table on the Parks and Industrial Lands of Citydev.brussels, while those for the period 1991-2018 have been revised.

Mobility and Transport: the tables on Cycling as well as those on Aeroplane passengers have received the figures for the years 2018 and 2019, while those on STIB's Bus, tram and metro networks have been supplemented by the results for 2018, and the figures for 2017 have been revised.
