Koekelberg (1.2 km2, 0.7 % of the regional territory) is a tiny municipality located in the north-west of the Brussels-Capital Region.

It is bordered by Berchem-Sainte-Agathe, Ganshoren and Jette to the north and by Molenbeek-Saint-Jean to the east.
