Forest (6.2 km2, 3.9 % of the regional territory) is a municipality located in the south-west of the Brussels-Capital Region.

It is bordered by Anderlecht and Saint-Gilles to the north, by Ixelles and Uccle to the east and by Drogenbos (Flemish Region) to the south-west.

A significant part of Forest is taken up by the Senne Valley industrial area, in the main home to the automobile industry and the railways.
