Answer: 2.17 people

On the 1st of January 2019, an average private household was made up of 2.17 people in the Brussels-Capital Region. This is less than in the Flemish Region (2.31 people) or Wallonia (2.27 people).

Among the 19 Brussels municipalities, the average size of private households was highest in Molenbeek-Saint-Jean (2.53 persons) and lowest in Ixelles (1.70 persons).
