How many day centres for school children with a disability were available in Brussels in 2017?

Brussels Institute for Statistics and Analysis (BISA) - Did you know? - 25/03/2020

Answer: 11

There were a total of eight French-speaking centres with 1,115 places in total, and three Dutch-speaking centres.

These centres provide medical, paramedical, psychological, social and educational support in addition to the education the children receive at school.

They are primarily pupils in special needs education, but children benefiting from integration projects in ordinary schools or attending a nursery can also benefit.
