The Institut Bruxellois de Statistique et d’Analyse (IBSA) centralises and distributes statistics relating to the Brussels-Capital Region.
The Brussels Institute of Statistics and Analysis (BISA) centralises and coordinates statistical activities at the level of the Brussels-Capital Region.
It collects, processes, analyses and distributes Brussels statistical data. It also carries out socio-economic analyses and supports the Government in evaluating public policies.
The Brussels Institute of Statistics and Analysis (BISA) has existed in its current form since mid-2010, following the restructuring of the two divisions of the "Analyses and Statistics Department" of the Brussels Regional Public Service, itself created in 2004.
Published on 14 May 2014 in the Belgian Official Journal, the decree concerning regional statistics confirmed BISA's role as the reference body for Brussels statistics.
